In some countries, license plates can gain considerable value, and that's the case in Switzerland. The lower the number, the higher the price.
The most expensive license plate in Switzerland was auctioned off a few years ago for a whopping 233,000 Swiss francs. And it wasn't even a single-digit plate.
While the buyer of "SG - 1" put down a hefty 135,000 francs, the owner of "SG - 2" only had to pay 90,000 francs (100,000 $). With that money, he could have bought another decent car instead of that metal plate. But what won't you do for the perfect look?
If we take a look at the expensive cars that have been attached to this license plate, those 90,000 Swiss francs (100,000 $) seem like nothing. This license plate has already been seen on a Koenigsegg, a 918 Spyder, and various Aventadors.
