Villa d'Este 2013: Aston Martin CC100

One of the most extreme cars on Villa d’Este 2013 has to be the Aston Martin CC100. The celebration model to honour the hundred year-anniversary of Aston Martin also catches extremely much attention on this occasion. That seems logical, because the roofless racing monster is a brilliant piece of engineering which knows how to show all design features of Aston Martins past and present.

The design is mainly based on the DBR1 racing car from Le Mans, but this model already is a lot less curvy than its father. The entire car makes me think about the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, but even this car isn’t as extreme as that one. Under the bonnet we can find a big V12 which has to pull the CC100 to a hundred kph in about four seconds and on to a topspeed of 290 kilometers per hour.
