Although Uwe Gemballa isn’t alive anymore, his company still creates special creations. One of the most crazy projects was the Mirage GT where the Porsche Carrera GT got a complete makeover. It’s a supercar for the very rich who love to drive something exclusive. In Kuwait City, the latest built copy was spotted.
The following car is one of the last built Carrera GT’s. The interior has a plaque which says that this car has production number 1226. Porsche built a total of 1270 copies. This copy hasn’t even driven 1,000 kilometers, when the car was completely new, it was rebuilt by the tuner from Leonsberg. It’s the twentieth Mirga GT which is built by Gemballa. In this case, it’s a Black Edition where they used a lot of black parts for some extra contrast. The Mirage GT is an extreme monster. A standard Carrera GT already has 612 bhp and this copy has even 650 bhp. Next to that, it looks way more aggressive because of Gemballa’s design. The best is the new exhaust system, which makes the V10 engine sound even better than it already did!
