While the new RS6 models catch your eye from afar, you couldn't even recognize the older ones as a monstrous estate car up close. And somehow, that was a good thing.

A lot has changed with the RS6 lineup. This is the very first RS6 ever made, introduced at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show.
The RS6 Plus was powered by a 4.2-liter V8 biturbo engine, producing an impressive 480 hp (353 kW) with a maximum torque of 560 Nm. With this power, the RS6 Plus could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just about 4.6 seconds, which is very impressive for a vehicle of this size and class. The top speed of the RS6 Plus was limited to 280 km/h, which is still very respectable today. The RS6 Plus featured Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system, providing excellent traction and stability, especially at high speeds and in corners. The RS6 Plus had some distinctive exterior features that set it apart from other A6 models, including 19-inch alloy wheels, a unique grille design, and carbon body elements. Otherwise, there were only minor changes in design elements.

Audi produced only a limited number of RS6 Plus Avant C5 - a total of only 568 units were manufactured worldwide.
Inside the RS6 Plus, you found high-quality materials and extensive features. For example, it had sports seats and a premium sound system. Due to its limited production and impressive performance, the RS6 Plus is now a coveted collector's item among car enthusiasts.
This exquisite specimen, with its beautiful dark green paint job, is a true sight to behold. This Goodwood Green color was rarely used on the RS6.
