This McLaren 765LT Spider isn't black

Would you believe me if I told you that this McLaren 765LT Spider wasn't painted black? It's a very unusual color for this LT Spider. Even on a bright sunny day, it's quite challenging to discern the color: Segestria Borealis.

For the first time, McLaren offered this expensive color, Segestria Borealis, on the 600LT. There was even a special edition dedicated to this color, the 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis. As you scroll through the pictures, you can't quite grasp the true color. And that's precisely the issue because this color looks entirely different depending on the viewer's perspective. It can appear dark green, blue, or even orange. Click on the image below, and you'll see the beauty of these colors in the remaining pictures.
This type of paint job has become a real hit lately. Other brands also offer similar types of paint jobs. However, there are two major drawbacks to these coatings: firstly, they're nearly invisible, in most cases looking like standard black, and secondly, they come at an incredibly high cost.
The 765LT Spider is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that employs two turbochargers to produce 765 horsepower (hence the name) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. This gives the vehicle impressive acceleration, allowing the 765LT Spider to reach 0 to 100 km/h in about 2.8 seconds. The 765LT Spider boasts an impressive top speed of approximately 330 km/h (205 mph).

McLaren places a strong emphasis on lightweight construction, and the 765LT Spider is no exception. Many parts of the vehicle are crafted from carbon fiber to keep the weight low and enhance performance. The shape of the 765LT Spider has been carefully designed to ensure optimal aerodynamics. Active aerodynamic elements provide downforce and stability at high speeds. The interior of the 765LT Spider is focused on the driver, featuring sport seats, a minimalist dashboard, and high-quality materials. Like many McLaren models, the 765LT Spider is a limited edition vehicle. Production is limited to 765 units, making it a coveted collector's item.
Furthermore, this particular specimen was spotted in Santiago, Chile, a true top spot for this location.
