This Bugatti Divo is indeed something different from the conventional Divos. There is a small detail that has been modified right from the factory. Read on to find out more.
At first glance, you'll notice that this car looks almost the same as the legendary La Voiture Noire. The car is made entirely of carbon and coated with a very thin black finish, just enough to still see the carbon. This is, of course, much more elaborate than a regular paint job and comes with a corresponding price tag. Another feature reminiscent of the La Voiture Noire is the silver trim that runs across the entire car. Anyone who has seen the La Voiture Noire or at least a picture of its rear end knows that it has six exhaust tailpipes lined up. Since the Bugatti Divo normally comes with rectangular exhaust tips, the owner of this Divo wanted something truly special. They ordered custom-made exhaust tailpipes to make the car as similar to the La Voiture Noire as possible.
Bugatti is producing only 40 units of the Divo, making it an extremely exclusive and limited series of vehicles. The Bugatti Divo comes with a high price tag, costing several million euros, making it one of the most expensive production cars in the world. Those who purchased a Divo three years ago needed to have at least 5 million euros at their disposal.
The Divo is based on the Bugatti Chiron but has been modified for improved aerodynamics and a more sporty appearance. Its design is more aggressive and eye-catching than that of the Chiron. Under the hood, the Divo houses the same 8.0-liter W16 engine as the Chiron, producing an impressive 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque. The Bugatti Divo's top speed is electronically limited to 380 km/h, which is slightly slower than the Chiron but still very impressive. The Divo can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just about 2.4 seconds, highlighting its remarkable performance capabilities.
