The unknown ugly duckling

Presumably, 99% of them have never heard of this car. If this is true, we can help lower that percentage. Keep reading to learn more about this peculiar vehicle.

Even if one thinks they're an expert on cars, even the best can fail when it comes to this vehicle. This is a very rare and somewhat funny/ugly-looking Hommell Barquette. At first glance, one might recognize that it is a French car. And not because it's so ugly, and not because of its name, but rather because it's, in the broadest sense, a Peugeot. Not only were individual parts and design elements taken from Peugeot, but also the engine and gearbox are from them. It was equipped with a 195-horsepower four-cylinder engine. This vehicle was built between 1994 and 2003. There was also a closed version of this vehicle that we've seen several times. The open version, the Barquette, we can now see for the very first time. I'm sure there are prettier cars than the Hommell Barquette, but it's still a funny vehicle. It's also sure to have a great fun factor.
This interesting vehicle was seen in its home country of France in Trinité-sur-Mer, in the far northwest of France.
