Bentley already showed us with the first generation of the Continental GT that they were capable of making a very sporty car. Bentley did this with the Supersports which produced up to 630 hp. This time, Bentley went a step further with the Continental GT3-R. It's the most sporty and street legal Bentley ever.
Last year, a lot of Bentleys were spotted on the Nürburgring to test this stripped car. The final result is a Continental GT which lost 100 kilograms of weight and produces 580 hp and 700 Nm of torque. That's an extra 60 hp than the standard V8. Other technical adjustments are the improved gearbox with shorter gears and a tighter suspension. The GT3-R is the fastest accelerating Bentley ever. The car needs only 3.8 seconds to sprint to 100 kph.
Bentley wants to show the passion for building a luxurious but also driver orientated car with this GT3-R. The GT3-R is the ultimate luxurious, track ready Grand Tourer, according to Bentley. The sportiness of this model can be found in the interior as well as the exterior where we see outstanding green details and a lot of carbon fiber. A remarkable detail are the carbon fiber air intakes on the hood and the spoiler on the back. Bentley will build only 300 copies of this car, this will make sure that this will be a very exclusive model!
