Although this was some years ago, it still sends shivers down our spines: the horror crash of the Pagani Huayra Pearl.
We're in the year 2016. In Paris, hypercars are as common as VW Golfs elsewhere. The Pearl is among them. One evening, however, this beautiful one-of-a-kind car loses control while driving and crashes in a dreadful manner. The rear end looks completely devastated, and the bumper is no longer even a part of the car. Naturally, this ruined work of art is immediately taken to the hospital, aka the Pagani factory, and restored to impeccable condition. The worst part of the whole story is that the car looked brand new again and was completely overhauled. It continued to run for some time, only to crash once more in 2021...
