It's common knowledge that the Dutch are not only associated with Spyker when it comes to car manufacturing. While Spyker and perhaps Donkervoort may ring a bell, there are other lesser-known gems, such as the Huet Brothers HB Special, also produced in the Netherlands.
The Huet Brothers from Hillegom had earned a reputation for their restoration work on classics. In 2007, they decided to venture into creating their own car, giving birth to the HB Special. This vehicle boasts a carbon fiber body weighing only 28 kg, resulting in a total car weight of just 760 kg! Coupled with the 170 horsepower engine from the Triumph TR6, this makes the HB Special an agile performer on the road. The car's design draws inspiration from 1950s Le Mans racing cars. These cars are now priceless and, in most cases, not road-legal. Here's where the HB Special takes a different turn. For "just" €100,000, you can own your HB Special and enjoy an driving experience that few other cars in the same price range offer.
