Spotted: SRT Viper ACR Extreme, extreme in every way

"Downsizing? What's that?", thus the engineers of SRT. The Viper isn't equipped with a turbo engine but powered by an 8.4 liter V10 with a manual gearbox. That's just how we want to see it in the land of limitless possibilities. But still this wasn't enough, Viper ACR went working on something even more extreme to fill this 'gap'.

Well, this car definitely fills the gap. The Viper looks like it comes straight from the track. This copy is also equipped with the 'extreme aero package'. This gives the car a big front splitter (which can be removed for normal driving on the streets), an even bigger spoiler on the back and louvers in the fenders. All these adjustments are made to improve the air flow. It works, the ACR produces three times as much downforce as the standard Viper. Besides that it just looks amazing!

Under the hood we find the well-known 8.4 liter V10. This engine isn't adjusted compared with the standard Viper which results in645 hp and 813 Nm of torque. More than enough, the ACR is aiming for track use and that means that this is more than enough power. The V10 is attached to a manual six speed gearbox. This car will be a real beast on the track!
