Spotted: Bentley Flying Spur 'China Design Series'

Spotted: Bentley Flying Spur 'China Design Series'

Yes that's quite a name. Besides that it's a spot of which we don't exactly know what car we're dealing with and this is all because of a badge on the car which seems to be placed on the wrong car.

In 2010, the Bentley Continental GT Design Series China and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur China were introduced on the Auto China Motor Show in Beijing. The badge on the Flying Spur in the following spot seems to come from the first of these two cars. The GT Design Series China can be recognized on the inside by its three tone interior, but also stands out because of the orange or magenta colour on the outside. This colour was new on this model.

The Flying Spur Speed China has a top speed of up to 322 kph coming from the well known 6.0 liters W12 in the front. The car sprints to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds and this is just faster than the standard Flying Spur Speed. This partly due to the more comfortable suspension. There's also some bad news. The exhaust is adjusted and makes it less loud. We can't tell you much about this blue Continental Flying Spur besides the fact that there's this special badge on the car. But is it really a China Design Series?
