Spot of the day: Hungary

Today the ultimate road legal track weapon that Mercedes offers you was spotted in Hungary. Our Hungary based spotters have already provided us with well over 12,000 spots including some absolute gems. It is also the country where the very first spots of cars like the Audi RS6 Avant C7 2015, the Porsche 991 Carrera 4S and the Koenigsegg CCXS were uploaded! Budapest seems to be the main city to be for car spotting and I have always wanted to visit this city, maybe someday I will be able to upload some spots from Hungary aswell!

The car in question is the Amg GT-R Pro. Like stated earlier this is the best Mercedes has to offer on the racetrack while still being able to drive home in it after a long day of racing. The GT-R Pro lapped the Nürburgring in around 7 seconds less compare to the regular GTR. So what sprinkle of AMG magic was used to accomplish those seconds?

The biggest changes come to a improved suspension, more downforce, and lightweight parts making for a better power to weight ratio. With all this focus on track use sometimes the normal usability of the car is forgotten, not with this Mercedes. Since Mercedes update the entire AMG GT series the GT-R Pro is fitted with the newest interior provided by the German car manufacturer so that means it is equipped with the new MBUX operating system and all the dials are digital.

It seems that this owner is more interested in driving it as a fast and exclusive (only 750 units will be produced) GT because of the absence of the track package. The track package provides you with a roll cage, 4 points harnesses and a fire extinguisher. Not ideal when using the car for everyday use.

C.M.Supercars Photography, Thanks for sharing this spot whith us and congrats on your Spot of the day!
