Sporty scoops: Cayenne Turbo S 2013 & Cayenne GTS 2013

When buying a Porsche Cayenne you have a lot of options nowadays. You can choose for a hybrid, diesel or gasoline engine. On short terms, two Cayennes were spotted and we think they deserve a spot on Autogespot, the Cayenne GTS and the Cayenne Turbo S!

The Cayenne Turbo S is all about power. The Cayenne Turbo gets the S addition together with an extra 50 horsepower which makes it a total of 550 bhop. Porsches most powerful SUV can reach a top speed of 283 kph. Insane for a car which weighs almost 2200 kilograms. The exterior is almost the same like the normal Turbo. Only other exhaust tips, wheels and dark headlights tell us that we’re dealing with a Turbo S.

The Cayenne GTS is a completely different type of SUV. Porsche didn’t focus on extra power with this model but they focused on a better driving experience. This is the most purist Cayenne available. The car is placed between the Cayenne S and the Cayenne Turbo but the experience makes it feel like the GT3 version of the Cayennes. The car is available in two unique colours, the following Peridot Metallic and Carmine Red. But that’s not all. The V8 has 20 extra horsepower compared with the Cayenne S, 420 bhp in total. The undercarriage is adjusted and the car is lower. Porsche even offers the Cayenne GTS with ceramic brakes, something we like to see on sporty cars. In the end, the Cayenne GTS has by far the best sound of all Cayennes!
