Mercedes-AMG manages to make the two liter turbo engine in the A 45 AMG produce 181 hp per liter. But SimonMotorsport proves that it's possible to make this compact turbo engine even more powerful. A recently tuned A 45 AMG now produces up to 462.5 hp.
With this much power, the A 45 AMG is the most powerful A 45 AMG in the world, according to founder Franz Simon. No other tuning company manages to make this car so powerful. Still there's something left, because this is only Stage 2 tuning. This means that the A-Class gets a Simon Motorsport Powerbox Stage 2, an Arma carbon fiber air intake and a completely new exhaust system by iPe with a downpipe without a catalyst. This creates a better flow for the turbo. Later this year, Simon Motorsport will completely test the car to measure the performance.
