Brazil is one of the BRIC countries, together with Russia, India and China. This are powerful and emerging countries. Especially China is very popular on Autogespot but Brazil isn't that popular unfortunately. There are definitely a lot of beautiful cars in this country. Spotter Eric Hartsema managed to spot a rare Porsche 911 Sport Classic in Brazil.
The 911 Sport Classic is a future classic with only 250 built copies. This collectorsitem costed up to 170.000 euros back in 2009. The price is still about the same and will only increase in the next few years.
Special about this car are the Double-dome roof, which refers to older models. Next to that, the car is an extra 44 millimeters wider. At the back we see a classic looking spoiler which refers to the 911 2.7 RS from the seventies. Custom made wheels fill the fenders. The power of this special version is increased to 408 hp, a boost of 23 hp compared with the normal Carrera S.
The 911 Sport Classic was developed by the Porsche Exclusive division. Just like the 911 Speedster and Club Coupé this is a limited version with which Porsche refers to the past. We will probably see a similar version of the newest Carrera.
