Production of Bentley's SUV will possibly take place in Bratislava

Bentley started the year 2013 fantasticly with a significant grow in the months January and February. The worldwide economical crisis doesn’t have any effect to the luxurious brand. The manufacturer revealed a new car in Geneva, the new Flying Spur, but they just keep on developing new models. Within a few weeks from now,the chiefs will decide if the SUV, the EXP 9 F, will be in production. There are just a few small details which obstruct the car from being produced.

We talk about last years’ EXP 9 F Concept car. It is a very controversial car, the negative attention the media gave the car, didn’t have any effect to the interests of the potential customers. Bentley itself says they already have over 2000 orders for this car. Actually, Bentley revealed that this car will be produced, some months ago.

There is just one important aspect Bentley’s chiefs considers about, like where the car will be produced. There are two options for this, at the Volkswagenfabriek in Bratislava or at Bentley’s own factory in Crewe, England. Of course, Bentley prefers building the car in England by their own 4000 craftsmen.

What’s sure, is that the car won’t be called Falcon. What’s not sure yet, is the use of the V8- or the W12-engine. If the car will get the green light, something which is very likely, the car won’t be on sale before 2015. Bentley thinks the most important markets will be China, Russia, the Middle-East and the United States.
