Quickly after the presentation of the Murciélago, Lamborghini presented a special edition. On the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the brand Lamborghini in 2003, they presented the Murciélago 40th Anniversary Edition. Nothing changed on the engine but with only fifty copies a lot more exclusive.
Normally you can recognize the Lamborghini Murciélago 40th Anniversary Edition on its special colour. To be sure if you’re really dealing with a 40th Anniversary Edition, Lamborghini placed logos on the side of the car. Also the interior is a bit different than normal. With this copy, you can’t really see it is a special edition because it is wrapped in matte black. Also, an Murciélago LP640 exhaust is mounted under the car. We wonder why you would do this with a special edition but in the end the car looks better, or don’t you agree?
