The biggest scoop in Geneva will be Ferrrari’s new supercar. It’s more than ten years ago that the Enzo Ferrari was taken into production. Everybody is looking forward to the Ferrari which will rewrite the rules of supercars. The closer we get to the introduction, the more specifications are leaked.
During a presentation, somebody managed to take a snapshot of a plaque with a sketch of the new supercar. This sketch was enough to make the following rendering of the F150. That’s the codename of the new Ferrari. This is just a beginning of new information about this car.
The F150, is just like other modern supercars, designed to break the rules of aerodynamics. On the front we find a nose with a Formula-1 look. Next to that, the F150 has, just like the Pagani Huayra, active aerodynamics thanks to the spoilers. The Ferrari will get adjustable pedals but no adjustable seat. They did this to keep an ideal weight distribution. The pedals can also be made completely like the feet of the owner. This is for more comfort and a better feeling. In the interior we can find an almost square steering wheel like we know from the Formula-1. Including the Manettino and the buttons for the wipers and indicators. All the information for the driver will be completely digital. You can’t find an analog clock in the F150. Every F150 is full of options so you won’t have an option list with extra options. The only options are air-conditioning and a radio. You can compose you car via the Tailor Made program to personalize your car.
Than the most important news. All 499 copies will get an owner who are probably already selected by Ferrari. With unique Ferrari’s, like this F150, Ferrari selects the future owners. This will be persons who drive Ferrari’s for years and who already own multiple limited Ferrari’s. Everye F150 will be delivered at the factory and owner will get a special contract which states that the owner is required to own the car for at least two or three years. Next to that, when the owner wants to sell his car after this period, Ferrari has the first right to repurchase the F150 for the original price. This way, Ferrari wants to prevent trading this supercar. We also think that Ferrari wants to prevent that everybody will know how many copies Ferrari really built. Because we know that Ferrari also made more than the promised 499 copies of the Enzo Ferrari.
