Yes, even we didn’t know the existence of this model. Of course Mercedes-Benz didn’t promote it to wildly with only 45 pieces built. Now the moment arrived we can spotlight this special model before it will appear in our database more often, because we can’t get enough of this ride.
The Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG R231 is a quite rare model. This has two reasons. The first is the the buying price, which is much higher than the one of the SL 63 AMG, plus the performances of both cars are almost equal. There are however some people who just want the best of the best and mark the 45th Anniversary on the order list, a special model to celebrate the 45-year anniversary of AMG.
What makes this model special from the others? To start off, all Anniversary-models are painted in Designo Magno Graphite. Then there is the addition of 19-inch wheels at the front and 20-inch at the back. Also several carbon fiber parts are added to create an exclusive atmosphere, like with the lip at the front. Also in the interior these small details can be found, combined with special Designo-leather in grey-beige.
To make sure the rest of the World also enjoyes the brutal sound of the twelve cylinders an AMG Sports Exhaust System is mounted. With this aboard the soundtrack will only improve, so do the looks of the back with the black-silver windows and chrome deposit on the inside of the exhausts. The attention for details is just incredible, comphrensible enough all models were sold out quickly. Two of them are already uploaded to Autogespot, of course we like to see more of them!
