Seeing this ‘news’ I have to do my best not to laugh. The simplicity how Lamborghini manages to sell a few Gallardo’s in India is just bizarre. Give the car a special striping, name it India Limited Edition and you’re ready to sell some LP550-2 models in India. Does this model have something special?
No, except for the striping, this car isn’t very special. No power upgrade, no spoilers or special wheels. Just a simple striping in the colours of the Indian flag. Under the hood, this car is normal Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2. In the interior we also see orange and green stitching which also refers to the Indian flag. They way I see it, Lamborghini is just exploiting this model and I wonder if it will be successful. Maybe we will see one of the copies on Autogespot soon.
