Lamborghini Egoista: the more extreme the better!

Lamborghini Egoista: the more extreme the better!

The designing team lead by Walter de Silva got a carte blanche from Lamborghini to design a one-off especially for the 50th anniversary of the company. As extreme as possible because CEO Stephan Winkelmann wants to make Lamborghini the bad boy between the supercars. Meanwhile, more pictures and information about this special creation is released.

The exterior consists two fundamental aspects, the lines and the used materials. The design is extremely muscular and just like the Reventón, inspired by fighter jets. Next to that, the front has to represent a bull with its horns down, ready to attack. This impression can only be found at a Lamborghini, where they always refer to a bull. The interior is minimalistic and focused on the driver. It’s quite hard to get into the car because of the dome and the lack of doors, but even that fits the image of this extreme Lambo!

According to De Silva, the Egoista has all the possible DNA available at Lamborghini. Next to that, this is the car that founder Ferruccio Lamborghini was looking for. When he built the first car he said: “I will place the engine in the back, I don’t want a passenger, this car is only built for me.” The name of this new supercar says exactly the same.

The 5.2 liters V10 in the Egoista produces 600 hp, we don’t have any further specifications yet. Lamborghini also won’t tell us about the possible limited production of the car. We think that there’s a chance because the Reventón, Sesto Elemento and Veneno are also produced.
