Last month, we had some spyshots of the Jaguar F-TYPE Coupé. Yesterday, Whoopyload was spotting in Nürburg and he managed to take some good pictures of this Jaguar. What we see on these spyshots is the solid roof and the fact that the F-TYPE Coupé will have the same engines as the convertible. This car is the V8 version, which can be recognized on its four exhausts. The V6 can be recognized by the cental exhausts.
Now that we see the F-TYPE more and more often, the rumors about the introduction are starting. Probably, this car will be introduced a year after the convertible. Now that the convertible is such a success, it wouldn't be smart to immediately introduce the coupé. The F-TYPE Coupé will be a bit lighter than the convertible because of the roof but this won't affect the performance of the car.
Rumors are also spread about a F-TYPE R-S, an F-TYPE equipped with a four-cylinder engine which we know from the C-X75. This engine has a supercharger and turbo and is able to reach 700 hp. Whether this will become reality is something we can only hope for. If it will happen, the car will be able to reach a top speed of 321 kph!
