The Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is undeniably one of the most exclusive new cars on the market, and not everyone has access to purchase one. It's no surprise considering that only 12 units were produced, and they were sold out immediately.

Only 12 of these distinctive and limited models are being created, ensuring rarity, exclusivity, and the utmost luxury with breathtaking performance. Bacalar represents the future of bespoke luxury automobiles – each model is handcrafted in Bentley Mulliner's workshop in Crewe, tailored to the individual customer's personal taste. This exceptionally rare car is appropriately named after the Bacalar Lagoon on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, a lake renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Bentley continues its strategy of naming cars after remarkable landmarks, a tradition that began with the Bentayga in 2015. Bacalar was brought to life by Bentley Mulliner, reinvigorating their specialization in providing rare coachbuilt vehicles for a select few discerning customers. Each Bacalar features a roofless Barchetta design with an entirely new and exceptionally powerful body, offering a wide range of customization options and materials. It will be a true one-of-a-kind masterpiece, the result of direct interaction between Bentley Mulliner's design team and each individual customer. As the most exclusive two-door Bentley of modern times, the Bacalar heralds a new chapter for Bentley Mulliner and forms part of their new strategy, presenting three distinct portfolios: Classic, Collections, and Coachbuilt. Bentley Mulliner boasts a prestigious history, tracing its roots back with pride to the 16th century, where the company's original focus was on crafting luxurious horse-drawn carriages. Therefore, the remarkable Bacalar represents the culmination of almost 500 years of experience and tradition in the art of vehicle design.

Under the hood, the Bacalar features an enhanced version of Bentley's unmatched 6.0-liter W12 TSI engine. This world's most advanced 12-cylinder engine delivers a staggering 659 PS (650 hp) and 900 Nm (667 lb-ft) of torque. An advanced active all-wheel-drive system variably distributes torque between the front and rear wheels. This allows the Bacalar to predominantly utilize rear-wheel drive during normal driving conditions, achieving optimal efficiency and dynamic performance. The drivetrain is the heart of the Bacalar, creating the ultimate open-top, two-seater luxury grand tourer available in the world today. All examples of the exquisite Bentley Mulliner Bacalar have already been allocated to customers worldwide. This is now the third Bacalar model to make its way onto the website.
