The goal was to unleash the full potential of the DBX's 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8. A new addition to Aston Martin's flagship SUV is a 9-speed automatic transmission with a "wet clutch." This high-performance gearbox is capable of handling significantly higher torque loads compared to a conventional torque converter automatic transmission, allowing for an increase in the 4.0-liter V8's power to a whopping 707 PS and 900 Nm - a boost of 157 PS and 200 Nm compared to the regular DBX. The launch capability has also been improved, propelling the Aston Martin DBX707 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Essentially, Aston Martin has introduced a highly interesting and extreme version—much sportier and noticeably more modern than the conventional DBX—to the market. It's logical, therefore, that the DBX707 has gained much more popularity than the standard DBX.
