Despite a few rain showers, this year's Passione Engadina was a true success. The Passione Engadina is divided into three main activities and several additional ones over the course of three days. On the first day, all participants gather on the lawn of the Kulm Country Club and showcase their vehicles. On the second day, there is an extensive tour during which the drivers are allowed to drive their cars in the stunning mountain landscape of the Swiss Alps. And on the third day, at Engadine Airport, there is an exclusive ride and an equally impressive show featuring the Kimera EVO37 and Lancia 037 that were present at the event.
The first day is primarily intended for the car drivers. People can exchange friendly words or simply enjoy the cars on the field. The field is then off-limits to all guests, who can still admire the cars on Sunday anyway. In any case, this year once again saw numerous rare cars on the road, such as some Lancia 037s, several F40s, a Miura, and even a Lancia Delta S4 Stradale version. As this year's event chose Lancia as the main theme, there were quite a lot of Lancias present.
On the second day, the grand tour took place, where the cars drove over the Albulapass, via Chur to Ilanz, had lunch there, and then returned via Tiefencastel, over the Julier Pass, and back to St. Moritz. If you were in the right spot, you would experience a wonderful soundscape in an equally beautiful landscape setting.
Afterward, everyone drove for one or more laps through the streets of St. Moritz. The final parts of the tour were quite rainy, as clearly seen in the pictures.
