Join me in welcoming the very first undisguised Mercedes-AMG GT 63 C192. Up until now, we could only observe camouflaged examples that were still undergoing testing. While this one is also in the midst of testing, it is no longer concealed. The new AMG GT isn't just a visual refresh; it also incorporates several technical enhancements.
The second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe is the new flagship model from Mercedes-AMG. It combines highly dynamic driving characteristics with increased everyday practicality. High-tech components such as the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilization, standard rear-axle steering, and active aerodynamics refine the driving experience. For the first time, this sporty coupe is putting its power on the road through the fully adaptable all-wheel drive system, AMG Performance 4MATIC+. When combined with the AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, it delivers a top-tier driving experience. The exclusive AMG sports car architecture with its sophisticated aluminum composite body structure allows for a 2+2 seating arrangement. For a sports car in this class, this means passengers enjoy a generous feeling of space and ample room for their luggage. The new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe, as the fifth independent model series following the SLS, the first-generation two-door GT, the GT 4-Door Coupe, and the SL, once again showcases the high technological expertise of the Affalterbach development team.
This particular example, like many other Mercedes test vehicles, was sighted in Germany. It was spotted in Meuspath, right next to the Nürburgring, where its sporting characteristics are being meticulously tested. It's likely that more test cars of this model will appear in and around the Nürburgring in the near future.
