A while ago, we already showed you a small preview of the Lotus Exige S Roadster. Now the car is introduced, just when summer begins. The car shouldn’t been introduced a few weeks earlier because of all the rain, the last few weeks in Europe. We hope that the summer will finally come and people can start enjoying the sound of the Supercharged V6 in the back of the car.
The top down, the sun on your head and the lovely sound of the Supercharged V6. It’s already great to drive the closed version of the Exige S, so with the top down it should be even better. It gives the car just a big extra sensation. The Exige S isn’t very isolated and now you can hear the sound of the V6 even better. The V6 still produces 350 hp and the weight has increased with an extra 80 kilograms. The sprint to 100 kph now takes exactly four seconds. The top speed is limited in the roadster to 233 kph. That’s the point where the limiter does its work. The price will be around 100,000 Euros which is a bit more than its closed brother.
