Geneva 2016: McLaren P1 MSO

McLaren doesn't only bring the important scoops like the 675 LT and 570 GT to Geneva, they also brought a beautiful P1!

Meanwhile the production of the P1 came to an end and this is the last produced copy. Via the MSO Bespoke division this copy was personalized. It's the first time after the “full” carbon fiber bodyworks that McLaren brings such a copy to a show. The color is named Lio Blu and this is a one-off color. Other visible upgrades are glossy wheels and a completely bespoke interior with carbon fiber and alcantara. Eventually, McLaren installed a 24 carat exhaust system as a homage to the McLaren F1.

Carbon fiber and hybrid technology are the key words that make the P1 so special. The car is extremely lightweight and thanks to the hybrid technology also environmentally friendly. The V8 mid-engine produces 727 hp and the hybrid engine adds another 176 hp. Thanks to the electric engine the P1 sprints to 100 kph in less than three seconds and you can reach 200 kph in less than seven seconds. The digital speedometer won't pass the limited top speed of 350 kph.
