If we have to mention one car that disappointed us with its press release it was the McLaren 650S. The car isn’t very original more because the design seems to be copied and pasted. In real life, the 650S couldn’t remove this feeling but it’s still a great car. The real fireworks can be found under the hood, where the 3.8 liter V8 is boosted up to 650 hp.
It was impossible for McLaren to surpass last year’s show in Geneva. The supercar of this moment is their P1 and it’s quite impressive what they managed to develop. We must see the 650S as an extra powerful 12C, a bit like the 458 Speciale is for the Ferrari 458 Italia. McLaren did everything they could to build this. The car reaches 100 kph in three seconds and the top speed is a stunning 333 kph. At the track, downforce is the magic word and that’s why McLaren redeveloped the front bumper which results in an extra 24 percent downforce at a speed of 200 kph!
