It is one of the last special models Ford released of the GT. The end is approaching or has already come for the last generation of the GT. 1.350 units were produced, ending this generation.
We will have to wait a while for the next generation. The GT must of course remain something special and the next GT could well be an electric one. This GT Holman Moody Heritage Edition is anything but. Thick 660 hp was drawn from the V6 and that made for quite a bit of fun. Just over a year ago, Ford introduced this last special livery. The then 250 customers waiting for their car could choose this special livery that pays homage to the Holman Moody Racing Team from 1966. That team came third in Ford's world-famous victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ford came, saw, and conquered with three cars on the podium. So there was no room left for other brands on the main stage. Just like that team, this GT was also provided with the gold paint with red details in Romania.
