Two days ago, Simon Motorsport in Dubai started building the first Liberty Walk 458 Italia in the Middle-East. We will highlight this project on Autogespot. After our first announcement, we now have the first update. What did they do in these two days?
The building process of the car takes about a week. Yesterday, the first components are stripped of the exterior. Next to that, the Japanese started cutting the chassis to fit the Liberty Walk widebodykit. At some photos you can clearly see that they removed quite a lot from the chassis. After this, they fitted the parts on for the bodywork. Everything needs to fit perfectly. The front of the 458 Italia is much wider with the new carbon fiber components.
