2016 is coming to an end, but on AutoGespot we continue to see topspots! And at the end of the year we are being spoiled by the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster. So this year just got a whole lot better!!!
The owner might not be able to enjoy his car the full extend this winter, especially when temperatures start to drop below freezing. It will not be very pleasant for cruising with the top down! Mercedes announced Mid-September the arrival of the Mercedes-AMG GT C and the GT C Roadster. And while we are still waiting for the first spot of the Coupe, we are excited to see the first spot of the Roadster! Under the hood of the GT C is a modified version of the AMG GT R engine, producing 557 hp and 680 nm of torque.
The GT C goes from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. The design is clearly similar to the AMG GT R, maybe just a little less brutal. The GT Roadster C is reminiscent of its predecessor, the SLS AMG Roadster. Largely because the rear section of the car seems to be longer. The color looks great, and in our opinion a bright color always works well on an AMG GT. This copy is probably still a test car, but the fact that they are driving it on the public roads probably means that the deliveries to the lucky owners will be made very soon!
