Ferrari 458 Italia and 488 GTB spotted on the Königsallee

Ferrari 458 Italia and 488 GTB spotted on the Königsallee

Ferrari said goodbye to the 458 Italia this year and its worthy successor is the 488 GTB. The differences are bigger than ever before. Where the 458 Italia is powered by a naturally aspirated engine, the 488 GTB is powered by a smaller V8 biturbo engine. Both cars were spotted together in Düsseldorf in almost the same configuration.

The Königsallee is known as the best street for spotting in this German city. It hasn't happened before that these two generations are spotted together in almost the same configuration. We can finally see the big differences between the models. Ferrari's 488 GTB looks more muscular while the 458 Italia is a toned athlete. You can easily find the differences in the exterior of the both models but under the hood the difference is even bigger. The new V8 biturbo produces 670 hp and that's an extra 100 hp than the 458 Italia. The 458 Italia won't keep up with the new 488 GTB but the 488 GTB does miss something very important, the sound of the naturally aspirated engine. That's where the 458 Italia is better than the 488 GTB.
