The MG Xpower SV, a car which is much harder to spot than a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 of more than a million Euros. The MG Xpower is a saloon car based on the chassis of the Qval Mangusta. That’s why the car was build in Modena and finished in Longbridge with the Xpower SV as result. This car didn’t have a long life, only 82 cars were built with the MG V8 engine.
There are very few copies spotted. We know there is one copy in Belgium, an even rarer SV-R, and in the Netherlands there is also one copy, the last time it was spotted was in 2009. The Belgian copy is easier to find on the roads, last summer, the car was crowned to the Belgian Spot of the Day in Knokke-Heist. Despite the big V8, it only produces 320 bhp and 409 Nm of torque. Not very special, but if you keep in mind that this car is nearly 10 years old then it isn’t very bad. In that time not many cars had big turbos on their engines. Recently a new car is added to the collection, it was spotted in the British Chorleywood. A good spot to give some extra attention.
