Who says Mercedes-Benz, says Brabus. It isn’t imaginable that Brabus won’t offer tuning for a Mercedes-Benz model. The CLS Shooting Brake is the latest project of the tuner from Bottrop. In the press release, bhp’s and nm’s were mentioned like it's nothing special. The CLS 63 AMG isn’t a particularly soft car but with the tuning from Brabus it becomes a real monster.
We won’t let you wait in tension and show you some specs. Brabus modified the V8 so it will now deliver 1000 Nm instead of 900 and the V8 produces 620 bhp. The sprint to 62 mph is done in 4.2 seconds and thanks to the VMAX-gearbox the topspeed is raised to 200 mph. With these specs you can keep up with a Ferrari 458 Italia, not that bad for a four-seat car. At the AMG-version you can get a special exhaust with so called butterfly-claps. When you press the sport-button they will open for an even louder soundtrack, or you can set the mode on ‘coming home’, so you won’t wake the neighbours when you come home late.
The interior can be modified in any way you want it. An interior from alcantara only and leather is possible in the shop in Bottrop. Next to that you can choose for a speed-o-meter which goes up to 250 mph (400 km/h) or 215 (340 km/h). Why do you need such thing? Well, it just looks cool!
