Another update from the Grossglockner Party has reached us. This time, the pictures reveal the true extent of this exclusive GT1 gathering. A total of five Porsche GT1s in various versions, and even a CLK GTR, were part of the meet up.

The photos emerging from the Grossglockner are simply breathtaking. At the end of July, a private gathering of enthusiasts took place at the Grossglockner. What united them all was the fact that each one of them owned a GT1. Such an meet, where so many GT1s are gathered in one place – and not on the racetrack – is likely to happen only once in a lifetime.
Those who were present undoubtedly had incredible luck. For each of them, it was probably the highlight of the year, if not an event of unparalleled significance. After all, it's not an everyday occurrence to have such a collection of 911 GT1s assembled in one location.

Only two road versions of the 993 GT1 were ever produced, and that was in 1996. This was the very first iteration of Porsche's GT1. Click here to learn more about other GT1 models. The racing version, which, by the way, was showcased at the Grossglockner, was also manufactured in an extremely limited quantity.
It's simply unbelievable what unfolded here.
