A nearly finished Revuelto is spotted during a test drive. Many people are not yet accustomed to the design, especially the exhaust pipes, which are precisely placed between the taillights and disturb many.

In the 60th-anniversary year of the brand, Automobili Lamborghini presented the Revuelto, the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High-Performance Electrified Vehicle). The Lamborghini Revuelto sets a new paradigm regarding performance, sportiness, and driving enjoyment with its unprecedented new architecture, innovative design for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, and a novel carbon frame concept. The combined power of an entirely new internal combustion engine with three electric motors and a dual-clutch transmission, making its debut in a 12-cylinder Lamborghini, delivers an impressive output of 1015 horsepower.

The powertrain combines elements with high specific power: the new internal combustion engine with 127 CV/liter works synergistically with two front axial flow motors, providing an excellent weight-to-power ratio, while a radial flow electric motor is positioned above the first eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, a first for a 12-cylinder Lamborghini. The three electric motors are powered by a high specific power lithium-ion battery (4500 W/kg), which also supports a fully electric driving mode.
