With the new year, comes the burden of planning for another Gumball 3000. We say burden because the logistics that come along with our participation are daunting to say the least. So what do you do when, a) you’ve won the coveted Spirit of the Gumball award and b) you did your last Gumball 3000 in two cars you’ve built yourself?
You make sure that you show up with a line up that is equally if not more EPIC than the last.
We’re happy to announce that the Tumbler will be making an appearance again this year. A new and improved Tumbler that we hope will be able to make an appearance at every stop and please the crowds.
We’re also planning to bring a classic on board this year. One that we believe has never been on the rally. A tribute Mr. Carroll Shelby himself. The one, the only, the Shelby Daytona.
We will also bring another car which never appeared on the Gumball 3000 grid before. Our version of Woking’s finest, the McLaren P1.
Last but not least, we will also bring Land Rover Range Rover Vogue.
Now that, we have the car choices out of the way, it all about the wraps and the giveaways and this is where you guys come in this year. We’d like to hear your thoughts of you think we should do. So get to it and send us your ideas to teamgalag@gmail.com. It’s going to be tough to come up with a theme that will suit such a diverse selection of cars but we know that you guys can help us do it.
Lastly, we just want to tell you guys how much we appreciate your support over the past few years. And granted, we do get a lot out of this ourselves but we strive to make you guys happy as well. So thank you for being there for us.
