"Freude am Fahren" combo in the United States

''Freude am Fahren'' is the most used slogan by BMW. No matter if you're driving a standard 3-Series diesel or a 7-Series, every BMW gives an unique sensation only BMWs can give. The following three BMWs were spotted together in Cincinnati, and we are sure these cars all have that BMW-feeling too.

A combo as the one below is pretty unique. The most combos which are shown here on the frontpage are mostly a random collection of expensive supercars or spots which have something in common. Never before three BMWs were captured together on a nice location. Our compliments go to spotter TYI!

What's more to tell about these cars? The newest one is the M3 Coupé. BMW recently stopped the production of the M3, with more than 60.000 copies built it has been a very successful car. Under the bonnet we can find an atmospheric V8 which is good enough for 420 bhp. The new generation M3 Coupé, which is renamed to M4 Coupé, will get the good old six-cylinder engine again, but this one is turbocharged. The second BMW is the E39 M5, also fitted with a V8 which is 400 bhp strong. This M5 started the bhp-race between the big three German manufacterers, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. Not long after its introduction, Audi introduced the Audi RS6 Avant with 450 bhp and Mercedes-Benz did the same with the E 55 AMG which produced 476 bhp. The E39 M5 was the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothes. The later model's appearances were much more sporty. Then there is an small classical BMW between the bhp-monsters. It's the 1802 which BMW launched back in 1971. This model is part of the so called 'BMW New Class' which BMW had on sale between 1962 and 1977. The cars gave the company economical stability after the crisis in the Fifties and gave BMW the identity of a sporty manufacterer.
