Villa d'Este 2015:Touring Superleggera Touring Berlinetta Lusso

Villa d'Este is the perfect location to show a coachbuild Ferrari. Touring Superleggera was present at the Geneva Motor Show but their latest model fits in way better at Villa d'Este. This beautiful and modern interpretation of the Ferrari 166MM from 1948 is shining at Lake Como.

The Italians talk about a so-called ‘3box proportion’ when they talk about the unique Berlinetta Lusso. Touring Superleggera was inspired by the Ferrari 166MM from 1948 with this new concept. The beautiful line on the side of the car is a direct reference to the past of the famous Italian brand.

Touring Superleggera hasn’t released much information about this special Ferrari. The completely bodywork is restyled on a beautiful way. Where the F12berlintta has an aggressive front, the coachbuilder made the front look more elegant. The new grille is just as the line on the side, a direct reference to the 166MM. It would have been even better to unveil this car next to the classic itself. Under the hood everything is still the same, the engine still produces 740 hp.
