Topspot: Porsche 918 Spyder in Finland

Finland isn't really known as a supercar country. The Porsche 918 Spyder that was recently spotted in Helsinki is quite a big surprise!

It's still winter in Helsinki. The temperature is around zero degrees Celsius. Supercars are not taken out that often with these cold temperatures. According to spotters the owner is Antti Piippo. With his company Elcoteq he earns enough money to buy this 918 Spyder. Rumors say that this copy has serial number 46. His 918 is also fitted with a matching license plate. Next to this 918 Spyder you will find another stunning car in his garage, the Carrera GT. In Finland, the price of a 918 Spyder including taxes is way over 1 million euros.

Despite the fact that the 918 Spyder is lessp owerful than the LaFerrari and the McLaren P1, a car magazine managed to set a faster lap time on Laguna Seca. This confirms that the 918 Spyder is probably better than most of you expect. Earlier, the car set a new record on the Nordschleife with a lap time of 6:57 minutes. The differences between the three supercars are smaller than most of you suspect and that's the big advantage of the 918 Spyder which is supposed to be the slowest of the three.
