Topspot: Bentley Mulsanne Le Mans Limited Edition

In 2013, it was 90 years ago that the first 24 hours of Le Mans was organized. That's why multiple winner Bentley decided to come up with a unique Le Mans Series. The Continental GT as well as the Mulsanne got a limited version of 48 copies. In Beverly Hills, the Dr. J.D. Benjafield, also known as 'Benjy' editionwas spotted.

Bentley gave their customers the option to choose between six legends who are connected to Bentley. Of these models the Sir Henry ‘Tim’ Birkin and John Duff were already spotted once. These are old racing drivers who competed in the legendary race with a Bentley. They won the race in 1929 and 1924.

This Verdant coloured copy is a homage to Dr. J.D. Benjafield, also known as 'Benjy'. He was a Harley Street specialist and doctor in London. Next to that, he has a big passion for racing. He participated in Le Mans seven times and managed to win the race in 1927. The Dudley Benjafield Specification can be recognized by small details. The exhaust have a Quad-effect design and the 21 inch wheels have a dark tint. Inside the car you can find several Le Mans logos. Including logos in the silles and the head rests. Next to that, you can find a plaque with the serial number of the car. A beautiful Le Mans clock in the interior reminds you of the fact that some crazy guys drove 24 hours in a Bentley to win these races in Le Mans in the twenties. With only 48 copies these cars are a very rare appearance.

Next to the Mulsanne, the Continental GT Series is also limited to 48 copies. Of this version, the Continental GT , Continental GTC and Continental GTC V8 are already spotted.

It's not the first time that Bentley connects the name Le Mans to one of their models. They also did this with the Continental R Le Mans and the Arnage Le Mans to celebrate their comeback to Le Mans after 71 years.
