Spotted: Ferrari 488 GTB

Only a few copies have been spotted yet. The Ferrari 488 GTB with turbo technology is a Ferrari that still has to convince a lot of car fanatics. Doesn't the car sound different with the turbo and aren't the characteristics of the engine completely different? All questions which we can't answer yet. The first spots do show us that the car looks great on the streets!

Ferrari powered the 488 GTB with a turbo engine, just like the California T. The 3.920cc V8 turbo engine which powers the 488 GTB produces 670 hp at 8.000 rpm and has a maximum torque of 760 Nm. It's incredible when you realize that this is only the entry level model of Ferrari. With this much power the Ferrari sprints to 200 kph in 8.3 seconds. The Enzo Ferrari needs 9.9 seconds to do this. The Ferrari Styling Centre is responsible for the 488 GTB's design. First thing that stands out is the big front and the enormous air intakes at the side to provide the turbos with enough air. According to Ferrari, the big and characterizing air intake is a reference to the 308 GTB. This model looks way more muscular and brutal than the 458 Italia which is way more elegant than the 488 GTB.
