Spotted: Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG R231
A Mercedes-Benz AMG is a brute on the road. The typical sound from the V12 or V8 is very easy to recognize. One of the latest models is the new SL class of which the SL 65 AMG is the top model. In this German power convertible we find an engine which frightens you. Two young guys were spotted in a demo model of this Mercedes-Benz in Munich.
An SL class is a car with two faces. You can easily cruise around in it and with the roof closed there is plenty of room for luggage. On the other side you can change the undercarriage into ‘not comfortable’ and when you see the AMG badge you know that it will be very fast. The SL 65 AMG is the most crazy version of all with an engine that produces 630 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque. The result of this amount of power is a limited top speed of 300 km/h. The top speed is limited for your own safety. The sprint to 100 km/h takes only 3.9 seconds and this is just like an AMG has to be. The car will be available starting from a price at 236.000 Euros.
