Scoop in Monaco: RUF Rt 35 Anniversary
In 1977, a company called RUF presented their first modified Porsche 911 Turbo. 35 years later the company is still very successful, still growing and there still is a lot of requirement for RUF-tuned Porsches. That’s why RUF presented us the Rt 35 Anniversary in Geneva. An homage to the first RUF in 1977. The first Rt 35 is now spotted, and where else than in Monaco.
Because of the fact that it is 35 years ago, one new Rt 35 Anniversary will be built for each year. That makes it a real ‘hard to spot’ car. With the authentic green color and traditionally styled interior it is pretty easy to recognize. The unique rear spoiler makes it even easier. Under the hood, things also changed. The 3.8 liters straight-six-boxer engine is boosted from 400 to 630 bhp. The torque is also lifted to a whopping 825 Nm. Because of the fact that the engine is connected to a PDK-gearbox the performance only gets better. The acceleration from zero to 62 mph only takes 3.2 seconds, and the car has a topspeed of 207 mph.
