New American supercar on Autogespot: the SRT Viper GTS
With a new name, SRT, the Americans are trying to let you forget the Dodge Viper. Everyone will love the Dodge Viper which was born in a simple shed. Nowadays the car is produced in a modern factory which has to make the SRT Viper more popular than ever before. This amazing car was spotted in ‘the middle of nowhere’.
SRT is trying to grow in Europe with the new Viper just like Corvette is trying a few years already. The Americans make big steps when we are talking about technique and looks. The car still has the brutal looks which are characterized by the enormous hood and the relatively short back of the car. The car has amazing details like the exhausts on the side, the spherical roof and the front which looks like a venomous snake. Due to the use of carbon fiber and aluminum, the car only weighs 1452 kilograms. Combined with the engine, a 8.4 liters big V10 engine this results in an amazing car. The engine produces 640 bhp and 814 Nm of torque. Just like the Corvette ZR1 this won’t be an easy car to drive. SRT hasn’t published the performance of the car yet but we know the top speed will be way more 300 km/h.
