Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet is still lovely

It was September 2005. Ten years ago at the IAA in Frankfurt, Mercedes-Benz introduced a new car. Five gears, a hammering V8 with compressor producing 582 hp. This was car for men with guts and an unlimited bank account for the gasoline this car uses.

Mercedes claimed to have built the fastest cabriolet for four persons. A top speed of 320 kph was noted and the sprint to 100 kph took only 4.0 seconds. At first this car was only built as a Coupé version and this model was limited to only 100 copies and was sold out in no-time. That's why Mercedes decided to built a cabriolet based on Bernard Schneider's 2003 DTM car. This model was limited to only 80 copies. The carbon fiber spoiler was a very special component ten years ago but nowadays every car has some carbon fiber components. Although this is already an older car, it still looks very impressive!
