Gumball 3000 2012: daily report ten, Santa Fe to Las Vegas!

Day six of Gumball 3000. The end is coming closer and you can feel it everywhere. Everyone is in the mood and avoiding the cops is starting to become a sport because of the high speeds. We are also in the mood and playing this game as good as possible!
The cat and mouse game between the Gumball and the cops is played for years and isn’t any different this year. Unfortunately we had to leave Santa Fe. The arrival and departure were very warm and we would love to stay a few more days in Santa Fe. We were guided out of town by a police escort. On route to the Grand Canyon, one of the most beautiful nature in the world. Of course not everyone will agree but we do love it. Just before arrival we got pulled over and got a strict warning from the cops. At a first control at 14:02 AM, the local Sherriff was already warned. 64 kilometers and fifteen minutes later, he was waiting for us. It is not possible to make this distance in such a short time with normal speeds. Luckily for us, only the Veyron and the Nissan GT-R got away with a ticket.
After the Grand Canyon we went on to the city, famous for its 24 hours gambling, partying and marriage. Las Vegas! The arrival was crazy because the city is so busy and crowded. Time to get our suitcases out of the cars, change ourselves, get ready to party and explore the nightlife in Las Vegas! While you are reading this, we are partying in a club or laying on the roof of a hotel.. Today we have to drive from Las Vegas to Hollywood, the last part of the rally. The final party will take place in Hollywood and this will end the Gumball 3000 of 2012! For the last updates of our journey you can still follow our Facebook and Twitter!
