We got a warm feeling when the Mercedes-AMG GT3 entered the hall at the Palexpo in Geneva. A roaring V8 entered without any dampers. Mercedes-AMG presents the GT3 and we can only enjoy this car.
The AMG GT is a beautiful car but when they fit the car with a big 6.3 liter V8 for racing it makes us really happy. The first cars are ready at the end of 2015. To reduce the weight of the car, the men in Affalterbach replaced everything with carbon fiber components. The hood, the doors and trunk are made out of carbon fiber for example. Of course the GT3 applies all the rules the FIA sets for the GT3 series. The AMG GT will be a big competitor for the other racers in this series.
